Development fees are based on many factors, including size of opportunity, start up vs. established brand, type of formula, existing formula vs. new formula development. Each opportunity will be looked at on an individual basis. 

The lead time for the initial formula sample varies between 2 to 4 weeks, considering factors unique to each product.  

PET (Preservative Efficacy Testing) (1 month) and Stability/Compatibility (1 – 3 months). – Standard protocol is a 3 month accelerated stability test to support a 3 year exp. date. However, Stability/Compatibility can be a customized protocol based on the brand’s specific needs. Costs vary depending on the protocol. 

Lead times will vary throughout the year depending on inventory/availability of raw materials, components, # of orders in que. Typically lead times run 6 – 8 weeks from deposit. 

Our minimum order quantities (MOQ) begin at 2,500 units per SKU, but may be higher based on formula type, packaging type and fill sizes.  

Our production capacity reaches up to 450,000 pieces per month and continues to expand with ongoing investments in advanced equipment and facilities.

Production orders require a 50% deposit and balance paid upon completion, prior to pick up. Any pre-production costs (development/formula testing) are paid 100% with order. 

Customers typically supply their own packaging components, since it’s the most cost-effective method. However, Medpak can purchase packaging components on your behalf if preferred.
